The Obagi Nu-Derm Sunfader cream does a lot to protect the skin from the external forces like the heat and dust outside. The Obagi Sunfader sunscreen contains powerful ingredients such SPF 15 and hydroquinone, which are very effective in warding off the evils inflicted on the skin when one is outdoors.
How Obagi Sunfader is to be applied
You should apply the Obagi Sunfader regularly while outside in the sun, as per the instructions of your skin care counselor. This product should also be re-applied after the skin comes into contact with water, like swimming or bathing.
Obagi Exfoderm should be ideally applied on the skin before application of the Nu-Derm Sunfader. This will help Obagi Sunfader clear up the dry skin and enhance blood circulation, thereby protect the skin’s sheen and glow even when it is exposed to the sun. Containing SPF 15, this product is probably the best one for those suffering from hyper-pigmentation problems as well.
The Obagi Sunfader cream has one other advantage as well. It effectively lightens the skin over a period of time, diminishing the appearance of freckles, age spots and liver spots on the skin.
Please note that the skin will initially tend to become more sensitive to the sun while the Obagi Nu-Derm regimen is being followed. So make it a point to use only the dermatologically approved Obagi sunscreen products, especially those that are specially formulated to fight UV rays.
Taking precautionary measures
Applying Obagi Sunfader every four to five hours will give constant protection to the skin, thereby letting it heal faster. It is also recommended that you use an additional protective agent like the Obagi Nu-Derm Physical UV Block SPF 32, while sweating it out in the sun!
Always contact your skin care specialist before starting Obagi’s skin care regime. Be sure to consult him during the course of treatment as well.
Though no specific research has been conducted so far, products containing hydroquinone are best avoided during pregnancy and nursing.
Obagi Sunfader usually works very well on affected skin. But if it continues to cause irritation even after the initial phase of application, discontinue application and visit your doctor for advice.
